There is more. Facebook with this app it can read your call log and data about contacts you have on your phone. It has access to the frequency of times you called someone, communicated or emailed.

 

 

When You Agree

Most people do not even read the terms and simply agree to them. With doing this, they allow Facebook to monitor them 24/7 while you are eating, going out, taking a shower. Basically everywhere you take your phone with you, they can see that and you.

Other apps require allowing them to read contacts, see your location, send SMS messages from the phone, read phone identity and status, listen to phone calls which allow them the full access.

In addition, they can disable the screen lock (the password that protects your phone – usually 4 digit code) and to delete contents of the USB storage or modify them.

Many examples point to the same thing, and people like Edward Snowden are the ones that make sure to create awareness about this type of things.

Have you heard of Allo? Snowden suggests avoiding this because just by using it you allow the law enforcement to check all of your communications. Allo is an actually a Google app that can record every message you have sent.
