CAUGHT ON CAMERA: MAN WITNESSES A MOM LEAVE HER BABY ALONE IN A CAR AND CONFRONTS HER- WHAT HAPPENS WILL AMAZE YOU (VIDEO)

A noble action or harassment?

This is so awful! I think most of us get angry at the mere thought of someone leaving their infant in a hot car. After all, there’s no excuse for doing it and we’ve seen enough tragedy in the news about children overheating and even dying after being left in cars that you would think people would know better.

A Richmond, California man recently saw a woman leave her infant unattended in a hot car while she went in to her local Game Stop so he decided to take action.

Manny Williams, who witnessed the woman leave her infant in the car, recorded her and then confronted her about what she’d done.

See what happens when he confronted her for leaving a baby alone in a car

The video begins with Williams narrating the recording of the infant strapped into a car seat in the back seat of the car crying while the mom is shopping inside the video game store.

The car seat has a blanket draped over it and all the windows are open and Williams can be heard saying, ‘She’s in Game Stop while the baby’s in the car crying.’

Williams continues to film the car, which is parked directly outside of the store, and goes so far as to film her license plate number before turning the camera on the woman, insisting he told her ‘5 times that her baby is crying.’

The woman then proceeds to leave the store and walks right by Williams, as he berates her for leaving her child in a hot car so she could pick up a video game.

She continues shopping

As Williams continues to film the woman, she walks out of the store and heads to her car.

But instead of leaving, she simply rolls up the windows, turns on the air conditioning and then had the nerve to go back inside the store!

This causes Williams even more distress and he comments ‘yeah, I think I’m gonna forward this to the Richmond Police Department.’

Williams’s video has been viewed more than a million times with almost 4,000 comments about it. While many of those commenters are applauding Williams for filming the incident, others think he blew the situation out of proportion, arguing that the woman could see the car at all times, and that she was only gone a few minutes.

The woman’s six-year-old son was also sitting beside the baby in the car at the same time.

Lt. Felix Tan says that Williams called 911, but only after he finished filming.

“If a person was there and actually saw the kids that were in dire need of help, I would certainly hope that instead of filming, let’s lend a hand,” Tan said.

Some are saying that Williams went too far with his comments towards the mother, who was visited by police in her home after the incident.

Janette Fennell, founder of Kidsandcars.org, a child safety group, told KTVU-TV she found many aspects of the case troubling.

“You listen to what he’s saying – it sounds a little bit like he’s harassing her, but it probably would have been time better spent calling 911 and getting a professional there who could intervene and decide what to do about the situation,” Fennell said. “But you should never leave children alone in cars.”

Williams told KTVU-TV that he did call 911 first and he’s not concerned about any criticism.

“Honestly, I really don’t care because I know in my heart what I did, you know? And I’m going to get blessings from God one way or the other for doing the right thing,” he said. “I wasn’t one of those people that you see just walk past and turn the other way or ignore it, ‘it’s not my problem.’ “

What do you think about the video, Hot Moms? What would you have done in this situation?
