Ayurvedic medicine is one of the world’s oldest holistic healing systems. It was developed thousands of years ago in India.

3000-YEAR-OLD TECHNIQUE TO TREAT RHEUMATOID ARTHRITIS AND INFLAMMATION

The primary focus of Ayurvedic medicine is to promote good health, rather than fight disease.

According to Ayurvedic theory, everything in the universe is connected. Good health is achieved when your mind, body, and spirit are in harmony with the universe. A disruption of this harmony can lead to poor health and sickness.

Inflammation is associated with a host of health conditions including cancer, heart disease, asthma, dermatitis and arthritis.

TURMERIC AND GINGER TO TREAT RHEUMATOID ARTHRITIS AND INFLAMMATION

Ayurvedic practitioners use turmeric and ginger for inflammatory conditions, among other disorders. Research studies show that turmeric works better than drugs such as phenylbutazone and other NSAID used in treatment of rheumatoid arthritis.

The active ingredient curcumin present in the turmeric serves as bactericidal, anti-inflammatory, anti-viral and antioxidant agent.

Ginger may be effective in increasing joint mobility, relieving pain, decreasing swelling and reducing morning stiffness.

You can use powder turmeric and ginger with almost anything you cook and prepare. They can be used in any of the following ways to relieve arthritis:

Method 1: Take a small piece of turmeric and ginger and boil them together in water for about 15-30 minutes. Drink along with honey.

Method 2: Mix turmeric with ginger extract and make a paste. Apply the paste at the affected joints to obtain relief from stiff joints.

Method 3: Mix equal proportions of turmeric, ginger powder and fenugreek powder. Store the mixture in a tightly sealed container. Take one teaspoon of this mix twice a day.

Method 4: “Golden Milk” – The Ancient Drink That Will Change Your Life

Unfortunately, curcumin isn’t absorbed that well on its own. Be sure to consume turmeric with black pepper in order to boost absorption.

Important: Pregnant and nursing women and those using drugs for treatment of any medical condition should not take turmeric supplements without medical advice.
